Shade Types Explained

You have the option of two shade types. One option is "No Valance" and the other is "With Valance". These are explained in the graphics below.

Base/Mount Kits Explained

One of the most important factors in owning an offset umbrella is making sure that it's stable and doesn't fall over. Here are the base options you have to choose from.

9" Deck Mount Plate (DMP)

This 9" Aluminum Plate has to be bolted to an existing solid surface such as a wooden sundeck or a concrete patio.

Ground Insert Base (GIB)

The Ground Insert Base (GIB) contains a sleeve to be poured into concrete for permanent installation. This has the smallest possible footprint of all bases.

Freestanding Offset Base (FSB)

The Freestanding Offset Base (FSB) is an aluminum frame design to accept readily available 24" x 24" concrete pavers for ballast. Weights are not included in the purchase of the Freestanding Offset Base (FSB). Minimum weight needed is 400lbs (4 pavers).
